Plan of Salvation


At Barbers Hill Church of Christ, we believe in following God's plan of salvation as outlined in the Bible. Here are the steps to salvation:

  1. Hear the Gospel: Faith comes from hearing the message of Christ (Romans 10:17).
  2. Believe in Jesus Christ: Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and our Savior (John 3:16).
  3. Repent of Sins: Turn away from sin and commit to living a life that honors God (Acts 17:30).
  4. Confess Faith in Jesus: Confess your belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God (Romans 10:10).
  5. Be Baptized: Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).
  6. Live Faithfully: Continue to live a faithful and obedient life, following the teachings of Jesus (Revelation 2:10).
